   Welcome to Sociology! Sociology is the scientific study of human social behavior, group dynamics, and society. In this course students will examine the world around them by applying the scientific method, sociological theory, and through rigorous analysis and discussion.
As your teacher, my hope is that you will find this course to be useful in your daily life, as well as eye-opening, and thought provoking. I hope to help you develop the ability to analyze the nuances of the world around you, synthesize diverse perspectives, and critically examine them using a balanced and open-minded approach.

Note: Current students are best served by seeking and turning in materials via Google Classroom. I am often receiving emails from other teachers asking for help in designing their course or requesting access to some of my materials. I am happy to help!
